This is a relatively small drawing of a golden eagle head. It’s going to be turned into a birthday card for my grandson who will be eight at the end of this month. He loves everything about animals and raptors in particular, so I hope he likes this. I don’t have to worry about him seeing it on here, it as I’m certain that he’s not remotely interested in what his Granny has to say online. Actually my grandmother name is Berry, as that was his attempt to say Granny when he was very small. It sort of stuck and I rather like being Berry. His cousin who is 3 year’s younger also calls me that. It means I can sign my texts to my daughters with little berry emojis. 🍒🍇🍓
I would get along with your grandson! I have loved raptors since a very young age, too.

I think you are right Regina. I have also bought Dinotopia for him as he love dinosaurs too – shhh don’t tell him. It will arrive next week so I’ll have plenty of time to study the art work – 😀

We have a signed edition of Dinotopia. James Gurney is from Rhinebeck. I think I told you that…I can’t recall.

You did Regina which is why I mentioned it. I really like the way he works and explains things, so yes, there is a slight ulterior motive in buying the book.
